“Vaanavill Music” is an established band that had been performing live musical shows for the past 20 years in the country as well as overseas such as in Chennai, India and Medan, Indonesia.

Vaanavill Music is consisted of 5 permanent members namely, M.G. Ragu (Lead Keyboardist), Mr. Kalaiarasan (Drummer), Mr. Raymond (Guitarist as well as Male Vocalist), Mr. Vinod (Tablist) & Ms. Sicilina J Das (Female Vocalist, RTM Recording Artist).

We also have on call members such as Mr. Charles Ambrose, Mr. Giri (Keyboardists), Mr. Maniam, Mr. Sam (Lead & Bass Guitarists) , Mr. Kesavan (Flutist), Mr. Bala (Sexaphonist), Mr. Kalai (Sitarist), Mr. Nathakumar (Percussionist), Mr. TMS Ragu & Mr. TMS Citran (Male Vocalist, RTM Recording & Album Artists), Ms. K.V. Prasnna, Ms. Kalaivani (Female Vocalist, RTM & Astro Recording Artists) who had been performing with us in many shows that require more instrumentalist as we do perform 10-15 piece band and we must say that our strength lies in the hands of our much experienced and dedicated members.

Under the leadership of Mr. M.G. Ragu (Qualified Sound Engineer), and a much talented and well known keyboardist, who is also the founder of “Vaanavill Productions & Music”, the band had performed in many major shows in the country such as Pesta Shah Alam, Selangor, Deepavali Carnival, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Deepavali Carnival Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan and etc.

“Vaanavill Music“ is also the band which had performed the most at National Matshushita & Panasonic’s “Deepavali/Cultural Nite” shows. We had also performed for Radio Malaysia’s tamil programme such as “Kalapadam and Ivvara Isaikulu” under the direction of Mr. Gunasegaran.

“Vaanavill Music” had also organised many charity show on its own, such as shows to raise funds for kidney failure patients, Special Children’s Home and etc.As our clients come from both corporate and the public, we had strived to provide a variety of entertainment meet their demands and always give our best to it.

We are also proud to say that our professional and quality services in the entertainment field have earned us many long term business relationship with most of our clients.

In order to keep our performing standards at the highest, we maintain regular rehearsals as our motive had always been to produce well organized and professional musical shows to enhance the awareness among our clients and society of our very unique culture.

The Big Band, formed in December of 1998, is currently one of the hottest bands in town. Having played in countless various clubs around Malaysia they have built a name and formidable reputation for being a versatile and entertaining band.

Having been around for about 11 years they have established an avid following be it in Kuala Lumpur or even as far as East Malaysia.

The Big Band not only has the experience required to produce and deliver a complete night of entertainment, they can do it with the best of them. That’s why various local Artistes have constantly requested their services as a back-up band.

Having won 3rd Place in the inaugural ‘Rentak Juara Band Competition’ organized by R.T.M in 2004, and also placing as one of the 3 finalists in the inaugural ‘Rock Unite’ band competition 2006, they have further cemented their place as one of the best in the Malaysian music scene.

The Big Band is currently experimenting with the pub scene and is going with just 5 members. Playing mostly classic to contemporary rock numbers they have gained rave reviews and are gaining a new following in the local K.L Pub scene.

No stranger to No Black Tie, the sweet Sarawakian singer Diana Liu, whose emphatic classical voice has enraptured audiences in The Sydney Opera House and the nation on 8TV’s Superstar season two. Come with high expectations, we’re sure you’ll leave enticed and longing for more.

Heavily infuenced by international artists and composers including Hiromi Uehara, Avishai Cohen, Marcus Miller, Joe Hisaishi and more, Tokyo Blue’s music has essences of Jazz, Fusion, Latin, Progressive Rock and even Film music. The trio uses sweet melodies with funky rhythm section and odd meters at times, constantly pushing their limits of jazz writing and improvisation while still keeping the songs melodious and story-full.

While still performing at jazz venues, festivals and private events in Malaysia, after wowing local music lovers and industry veterans with their instrumental forays into jazz, local jazz trio Tokyo Blue stepped it up a notch with debut album ‘The Naked Soul’ which was just released in October 2009, that promises songs that bare the core of their beings and push the edge of experimentation.

The trio has a distinct sound featuring the adventurous bass playing, aggressive yet sensitive piano and rock solid drum beats. The album also includes variety of tunes that re?ect the different sides of their personalities. With the tunes featuring pounding rock riff on piano, mellow fretless bass taking the lead, disco beat with montuno, melodious odd meter piano with double bass, funky latin beats with slap bass and more, Tokyo Blue demonstrates their capabilities to write creative and meaningful tunes, and even to entertain through instrumental music.

Each member of the band is an active performer, Ywenna has performed in numerous international jazz and music festivals: South Africa’s Grahamstown National Arts Festival 2010, Ulsan Music Festival 2010(Korea), Swan Festival of Lights, Perth Australia 2010, World Expo Shanghai China 2010.

They recently just performed at Penang Island Jazz Festival 2009 (Malaysia), Jakarta ‘Jazz Goes to Campus’ November 2009 (Indonesia), Bangkok Jazz Festival (Thailand)2009, Jazz Goes to Campus, Indonesia November 2010 and scheduled to perform in Singapore Mosaic Music Festival March 2011.

There are six members in their unit and their aim is to provide quality music to their listeners as they awaken some of the more memorable hits from through the decades. Their combined talents also include composing, producing and modern day dance.

Fana has been performing professionally for the last 10 years. She sang with a couple local bands in her native isle of Trinidad and Tobago and spent a number of years working the local club scenes. She’s had the pleasure of singing on board popular cruise lines such as Princess and Royal Caribbean doing lounge music and island songs. Diving into genres like Jazz, R&B, Alternative and Calypso to name a few she always ready to take on the next challenge.

This experienced musicians/ singer/ songwriter has about 25 years in the business singing different genres including Jazz, Calypso, R&B etc. He has performed in countries all along the Caribbean, London and parts of America. He also featured in the 2003 MOBO in Miami.

This bright young man started singing in church at the age of 8. By the time he was 14, he ventured into the world of dance which enhanced his performance when on stage. He’s just 21 years old but he has such a natural flair for the stage and has won hearts everywhere he performed. He is undoubtedly on the werge of a very promising career.

With 20 years experience as a professional musician, Vincent who also captains the band Rhythm Industry, is an extremely talented producer, songwriter who plays several musical instruments. He played with many local bands from his home country of Trinidad and Tobago and also did the club scene in Toronto for 4 years while living in Canada. In 1995 he wrote and produced a song entitled “Why Don’t You Love Me” which landed him a page layout in a billboard magazine. His song was also co-produced by Raul Meyer and Daniel Xavier
