Turn on the passion with the multinational Latin Jazz Septet featuring Venezuelan, but Holland resident, Michael Simon (trumpet), France’s Christophe Turchi (soprano & tenor sax) and Malaysia’s Tay Cher Siang (p), Azmi Hairuddin (alto sax) and Lewis Pragasam (d) & (perc). Get to know guest musician Michael Simon who has had the opportunity to perform at his native Netherlands’ most important theaters, concert halls and festivals. And so far, he has accumulated an impressive curriculum. His work experience includes performances with top Latin and Jazz artists such as Lester Bowie, Denise Jannah and Rotterdams Fabrikaat Big Band.

Boy, can Rozz sing. A performer that defies anything generic, Rozz’s stage appearances are often vigorous and engaging. Trained as a classical vocalist by Anne Ridgeworth from the early age of 4, Rozz has since dedicated himself to the study of music and theatre. His education and career as a performance artist eventually landed him at the epicenter of the actors’s domain: New York City, where he was featured in various on and off-Broadway productions. Come and experience Rozz’s spectacular show.

Zalila Lee is one of Klang Valley’s best kept secrets. A veteran singer-songwriter in her own right, she’s a regular in the singer-songwriter circuit, gracing the stages of most acoustic venues in the city such as the Moonshine Homemade Acoustic show and last year’s No Black Tie Acoustic Series. Her impeccable rhythm-driven guitar playing and baritone vocals is reminiscent of a local Tracy Chapman and her penchant for intense gravity filled songs are guaranteed to give you goose bumps. She’s worked and collaborated with other local talents which include Mia Palencia, Rafique Rashid, Reza Salleh and Izzy Mohd. Not to be missed.
